Year in and year out UMNO plays the very same political gimmick of Tan Sri Ananda Krishnan being the second richest man in Malaysia and now in 2010 he is worth RM 27 Billion.
This Tan Sri should be in the 27% income tax bracket. Assuming even that he is in the 20% income tax bracket, ie totaling RM 5.4 billion, he would at the very least get RM 1 Billion in tax free deductions for the donations that he makes which otherwise he has to pay to the Income Tax Department.
This RM 1 Billion Tax deductable donations alone, by merely the stroke of the pen on his cheque book, would be more than enough to take all 523 Tamil schools overnight out of it’s current cowshed like status and turn them into modern and fully equipped schools like any other Malay and Chinese school.
But logic dictates why Ananda is unable to do so. Because he is a mere proxy for UMNO but is displayed and showcased as an Indian being the second richest man in Malaysia and who owns the Petronas Twin Towers, the world’s tallest twin towers through especially their Tamil newspaper propaganda which carried this new headlines in the Tamil Nesan 17/2/2010 and the front pages in Malaysia Nanban, Makkal Osai, The Star, Utusan Malaysia, Berita Harian, NST etc all also on 17/2/2010.
