There are scores critical Indian problems in the state of Kedah. But to stay relevant, this Kedah Indian Exco mandore chooses to do a wayang kulit through the Tamil media by dishing out clothes to 200 poor Indians (Malaysia Nanban 17/2/2010 at page 12) to keep himself afloat and remain politically relevant amongst the Indian community.
This is why “tuan” Anwar Ibrahim, Hadi Awang and Kedah Menteri Besar Dato Seri Azizan chose him as a candidate (and then Exco Member) in the Bukit Selambau by elections over even Hindraf people power leaders like lawyer N. Surendran. Because N. Surendran will not accept the role of a mandore but would act without fear or favour.
A thousand mile journey begins with a single step. So this Indian Kedah Exco member for a start should get his “tuan” Kedah Menteri Besar to grant land to all 58 Tamil schools in Kedah. He knows his “tuan” and Anwar Ibrahim would never do so just as UMNO has refused to do so in the previous 50 years preceding 8/3/2008 but use the MIC mandores to hand out peanuts to the Indians. This PKR mandore is following the same wayang kulit route established by Umno-MIC.
This is the same state of affairs of mandorism also in DAP and PKR ruled Penang and Selangor. PKR, DAP and PAS would also never alienate state government land which they have 100% control of, to all the 28 and 98 Tamil schools respectively in Penang and Selangor. So the ongoing saga of the PKR, DAP and PAS Indian Exco and DCM II mandores and mandorism.
