DYMM Sultan Perak has constitutional duty by Article 153 (Second Limb) to also safeguard interest of Indian poor.

Sultan of  Perak Sultan Azlan Shah yesterday cautioned that the country could face a perilous future if racial and religious issues continue to take centre stage and played up to incite hate among the people.

The UMNO regime must take heed of this DYMM Sultan of Perak who was also the former Lord President and forthwith stop all their acts of racism and religious supremacy especially targeted against the Indian poor.
By virtue of the Second limb of Article 153 of the Federal Constitution we appeal to DYMM the Sultan of Perak on the occasion of His royal Highness Raja Azlan Shah’s 83rd Birthday to also safe guard the interest of the Indian poor who are inflicted with very serious acts of racism and religious supremacy by the UMNO led Malay-sian government on a day to day basis as is documented and reported in

This morning  Mahalingam Veeriah,  a 60 year old disabled and his partially blind wife called over at the HRP HQ in Bangsar, now that the homes they have been living for the past 30 years are to be demolished on 25/4/11 by the ungrateful, racist and cruel PKR, DAP and PAS led Selangor state government.
Who made these people poor in the first place? Why weren’t they granted low cost houses long ago?
Where is the social justice? What is the difference between Pakatan and BN?

SELF RESPECT AND DIGNITY

We all have self respect and we want it to be stronghold of our lives . Self Respects starts from ourselves first before it shines to others to see what kinda of creation are we and through that we earn respect, love, care and someone whom people like to be with. Many people look for it outside waiting for others to recognize it but usually others don't see it in us because of our attitude, character and the way we deal with people at large. 

Mohandas Gandhi is one person i usually take as my motivator . With his style of living, fighting for independence of India, humanity and humbleness, he is know as Mahatma..... His statue is erected even in London as a sign of respect to this earthly man. The white's have so much of respect for him even though they have persecuted him many many times. In the movie Ghandhi, even the judge stands up to respect this small build man. He was a man of dignity which the world will testify. His dignity after many many years and generations to come, will remember him as the MAN OF SELF RESPECT AND DIGNITY. 

That is what respect all about. Today how many of us have taken the pledge to be like this man, Gandhi. Do we have principals in our life's ? Let's ask ourselves first. I see many (including me) not sure where we stand in the first place. We think we know but the actual fact we don't know . 

To give u an example of earn respect ...follow me as i tell u this true story

Chitra Pronami was held in Teluk Intan on 17th and 18th April 2011. Mr Utayakumar and Mr. Jayathas was there to build the awareness to the people who came for the celebration. Our Tent was the biggest compared to Gerakan on our right and DAP / PAKATAN on our left. They are only quarter of our size . During the celebration MP's like YB Kulasegaran, YB Manoharan and YB Sivanesan was in the DAP tent distributing packed food and drinks. this MP's was there for about 2 to 3 hours max. after that they were all missing in action. As for Gerakan camp, I didn't see any MP's there at all. they too giving out drinks. As for HRP camp (tent) we have many posters and Video slides that hails about our struggles and fight against the government and the police force . We had big speakers facing the crowd and each time the voices of "Hapuskan Interlok" and Polis Kejam was heard loud and clear to all worshipers. We have even many visitors coming to our tent and asking questions about our quest for eradicate Indian's sufferings. People in Teluk Intan would justify that HRP and Hindraf was one strong team as our Teluk Intan and Perak group work around the clock to make sure all is in order. Our Teluk Intan guys even served free Rabina too all worshipers . they chipped in from their own pockets to serve more then 2,000 people. To remind all of us , that the Teluk Intan group consist of 5 to 8 strong members only. I saw the Rabina bottle and it was about RM78 ringgit a bottle and they have a case full for this purpose. 

These simple guys from Teluk Intan have earned our respect especially from Mr Utaya and Mr Jayathas as they are just a normal working guys. They show us simplicity of love and care for Indian worshipers. They did all these not for self glory or to get praises but they did it for Indian's whom i can see burning in thier hearts and soul .... A simple sacrifice of this guys make them well respected by the community. 

This is what i meant of Respect earned and its builds self respect for themselves and us all to gather. i notice the joy of serving Indian's in their eyes. My heart and my salute goes to this young men from Teluk Intan . 

If we all want to learn about self respect then we should learn it from this young man's. Through self respect they found Dignity ... as Gandhi did.

We today, are facing the same struggles as Indian's in Malaysia. 

Are we ready to stand up for our DIGNITY and RESPECT to be treated fairly and whats deemed our rights to be given back to us ....

Lets put our hands togather to support Human Right Party ( HRP ) leaders as we prepare ourselves for an uphill battle against racism against Indian's. Lets start helping and contributing to our Indian struggles.

Nothing can be done without money as we all know that very well ... as some of our brothers who fought for us in the interlok issue still haven't come out with bail money. They did all this rallies and car convey for us Indians and our children, so aren't we too be responsible to help to raise the bail money for our brave HRP supporters . Lets not waste time, just donate a RM1, RM2 , RM 5. RM 10 or whatever amount we can afford to support our Indian brothers and supporters. 

I don't think that as how poor we can be , that a sum of RM 1 ringgit ,RM2 ,

RM 5. RM 10 will make us poorer . 

Be like the Chinese , when they are faced with a problem or issue , they will not hesitate to donate for a good cause whe involves a brother of them ..why can't we imitate them in doing the same.

SO TO BE COME RESPECT AND DIGNIFIED , TO SOMETHING FOR YOUR OWN INDIAN COMMUNITY..... MAY GOD BLESS US ALL

Last week we received a distress call from a Hindraf/HRP supporters that a group of UMNO Malay-sian Polis Raja Di Malay-sia members had arrested a group of for Indian youths who were having drink at a café.
The next day the blood stained car was found and the lift lobby splattered with blood.
And now these Indian youths have just disappeared in thin air despite their families having lodged a police report.

Racist UMNO DBKL: Why only relocate “ethnically cleanse” Cochrane Hindu temple. Why not relocate suraus and masjids as well in One Malay-sia?

Why pick on Hindu temples and that too for a mere temporary relocation and only to be demolished anyway in due course! This is despite the Federal Territory  Ministry giving a parliamentary undertaking that no more Hindu temples would be demolished anymore. But the racist UMNO implementation is another thing all together. And the use of the MIC Deputy Minister Indian mandore to do this UMNO dirty job.
Why can’t all Hindu temples like any other masjids and surau in One Malay-sia be granted permanent land and permanent status and thereby a permanent solution?
As opposed to this racist UMNO temporary relocation solution with the view to be ultimately “ethnically cleansed”.

CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY IN MALAYSIA trial at International Criminal Court in The Hague? Arrest P.M Najib Razak on overseas travel! – Dr. Raj Ghandhi, USA.

In this day and age it is hard to imagine a natural born child being denied a birth certificate and citizenship of a country of his/her birth. But that is exactly what happens to a Hindu child born in Malaysia. The State refuses to issue the birth certificate and keeps on finding useless and flimsy excuses. The child grows up to school age, and school refuses admission because the child does not have the birth certificate. Muslim children do not face this problem.

I was aware of some discrimination against Hindus in Malaysia who form about 7% of the population. I did not know about the wanton nature of this discrimination until I attended a lecture – presentation by Waytha Moorthy at the Global Mall in Atlanta, Georgia on the evening of 1st April, 2011, thanks to the India Awareness Foundation. My wife and I, along with everyone else in the audience were appalled with what we saw and heard that evening. How can a nation deny fundamental human rights to its own natural born citizens based on religion, and harass, physically abuse, imprison and torture them if they try to assemble peacefully and legally for a legitimate cause? On what basis does the government of Malaysia justify demolition of old Hindu temples which have been there for centuries? On what basis does it deny Hindus their right to worship and build temples?

Obviously the government of Malaysia is engaged in the practice of religious discrimination and criminal oppression of Hindu minorities.

In my view the Prime Minister and the King of Malaysia must be tried for crimes against humanity in the International Criminal Court in The Hague or any other court of law, if possible. Having been successfully tried and convicted, they will become pariah in the eyes of many nations and will face the risk of possible arrest during their international travel. The publicity created by all this will be a bonus and act as a legitimate pressure on the government of Malaysia to bring about necessary reforms and restore fundamental human rights to its Hindu minorities. If no court of law is available, their crimes must be exposed fully so that they face trial in the court of public opinion. Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International should take a leading role in this matter.

I admire and condone the efforts of Waytha Moorthy and others who have taken the worthy cause of fighting for their civil rights and the civil rights of fellow citizens who are being discriminated and mistreated by the government authorities. I urge the UNO and its member states to offer all possible help in this matter. I also urge the US government to exercise its political and moral authority to bring the necessary pressure to bear on the government of Malaysia to ensure long awaited civil right reforms for its minorities.

For my part, I wish Waytha Moorthy et al good luck and give them my best to succeed in this struggle. I also pray God to give Malaysian rulers some wisdom, sense of justice and fairness, and an element of conscience so that they may treat all their citizens equally, without any form of discrimination.

Indian's and their struggles - AM I AN INDIAN ?????

Being an Indian is like an disadvantage in Malaysia ... the struggles each Indian goes through each day is unbearable . Be it a professional or a laborer, we see that many obsticals and challenges we face in carrying out daily routines. We see many Indian people and hear many suffering here and there BUT not many willing to help . Forget about other races but even an Indian just make don't know when it is highlighted to them .. The feelings of One race and brotherhood doesn't much exist in our Indian Blood nowadays. More Indian's are living in this country taking care of their own life's, their work, their finances and their children and their wife only. they seems not bothered whats happening to another Indian's plight ... I wonder why these happening here ????

I might be wrong and correct me if i am .. I think that we are becoming selfish people and the heart of sharing, caring , loving is slowly dying in our Indian community nowadays. Indian's used to be the most caring and helpful people at one time no matter what the religion of his neighbor, he will the first to give his assistance to them. But today, all this have diminished in thin air..

The mentality of such people is seen nowadays and only when a problem or a issue that doesn't favour them comes emerging then only they start looking for Indians for help ... Many Indians in middle class statues are living in such denial ..BUT when his or her kids whom performed well getting 10A in SPm examination for instance and refused a place of a seat in university then they come out to make noises blaming other people. They blame the indian parties or leaders for not doing thier job ... BUT in fact from the beginning they are not bothered when they hear another Indian kid who also did well in SPM refused a place in the University.

That's how it is with our people ... when a crisis hit hard and that's where they look for support from other Indians... before that they are not bothered whether to lift their fingers to help another poor Indians.

GOD is great ... that's why i believe ... He wanted this kinda of people to learn the lesson from happenings in their own family. I believe all of us will go through this one day and we face the consequences when we are turned down by the authorities even tho our kids deserved a rightful place in university . to poor oil into the fire , GOD will show them (including me) that moment of our frustration , seeing a malay guy with only 4A get a place in the same university that we were turned away . How would we feel at that moment of time ????

No one can live alone in this world ... thats why we have brothers, sisters , relatives , friends and community . We need to give as we one day too need to receive. If we ignore a plight of another Indian then be sure we too will be ignored when we face a difficulty...

Today, we face many obstacles in Malaysia as an Indian ..to name few are as followings :-
1. IC and Birth certificates for kids . Few days ago in Media it was highlighted about 8 kids standing outside of the school gate not allowed to continue thier studies just because they uneducated parents didn't bother to take it when thier kids were borne.. Is it so difficult for the education state officer to check with the hospital and the National IC dept about thier parents by providing their late parents IC Numbers to see whether they are Malaysian or not ... If they are then why can't allow then continue studying and help them getting the proper Birth certs. A easy as ABC problem solved with just a phone call ....

How many Indian's voice it out to the newspapers or went there to assist this poor kids. Only a handful including Dato Siva Subramaniam and Hindraf state leaders ....

2. The Interlok issue - Many of us Indian's didn't like how the education panel together with Dewan Bahasa used words that have offended many Indian's in Malaysia. We have about few million Indian's in Malaysia (including me) just kept quiet and it became a coffee shop talk only ...banging tables and shouting about it .. How many of us took concrete steps to protest on the interlok issue ... We Indian's didn't even lift a finger to address the issue , so are our so called Indian MP'S . If these Indian MP's no matter which parties they belong to ..just staged a walk out on these issue ..i would salute them but no one did that BUT when Dato Anwar was suspended from the parliament many Pakatan MP's followed him and walk out of parliament .... ARE THESE INDIAN POLITICIAN'S JUST NAME SAME POLITICIAN FOR INDIAN'S IN MALAYSIA.... IS IT ????
Where are they belongings to .... to the Indian people who voted for them or their leader who was suspended ???? The same goes to the MIC leaders too.
Where were each one of us when this issue was a hot problem concerning our Indian children and our community . Why didn't we stand for our rights then ,,, why did we chicken out .... so afraid that our livelihood would be effected.. am i right is saying this ????

3. Business licenses - We see all around our vicinity that a burger stall run by Malay youths . They too don't have proper license but no one bothers BUT have we seen a vadai stall run by poor Indian lady lately .... Sure No ... because they dont have license to operate. Then how this poor lady going to make her end meet .. Is it so difficult for Indian's to even to make a decent living .... We all know well that a vadai lady will not be rich and famous from the sales of vadai ...
Have we ever in our place of residing see such capable poor indian lady and help her to put up a vadai stall or a chapati stall .... No i guess,,,, We don't care actually ... that's our reasoning ... Why can't we Indian's get to gather in our area and help such people to do business.... Is it to much to ask of us ????
I Haven't had a gud vadai for ages now .... and wish more mushroom of vadai and capati stalls will be around for us to have tea in the evening with some karipap and vadai .... ( There are many businesses where Indian's are denied not only vadai stall for your information)

4. University seats for deserving indian students - Its very sad that many Indian best students in this country have no place in University but a Malay with 4A gets in easy .... When the issue is talked upon by our Indians ..we just with a sorrowful face answer calmly ... It is Malay rights and being frustrated for the past 30 years now ... My question is :-

a) Why can't protest what our kid's deprived of ...the basic education ?
b) Why can;t we staged a rally for Indian kids who are deprived ... your kids and mine too ...We all know that without proper a 1st degree our kids are not heading anywhere.
c) Stage a protest by not going to work perhaps .... close all indian shops for this purpose .... bring down the economic stand still .... teachers refuse to attend school, lawyer and doctor take the day off .... and we all meet for a picnic in Lake gardens . Won't that sent a strong message to the government .

5. Many more issues .... land issue , temple issue , burial grounds and many more pressing issues ....

I am not condemning us BUT i am highlighting the problems our Indian brothers and sisters facing all around Malaysia ... making us realize that we too have to play our part in building our Indian community ...No matter you are a lawyer, doctor, professionals, restoran owners, a civil servant , a laborer, a policeman, a fish monger or any job we are doing .... We have to get united by building our Indian communities in our residing areas, our city, our township and our nation as large.

Fight racism within ourselves first before we go out there... facing other races and the government for our rights to be given to us as we deserved. We are not asking for heaven , all we asking is for a decent livelihood to make a living and basic necessity. We too worked and pay taxes so we too deserve to be served in a proper manner as a human .

Many leaders are not doing their duties as our representatives in Parliament as they are mere followers of their leaders of the coalition ... but ... we voted them for standing up for us, Indians. Why do we need them if they are not bothered about the plight of Indian community ...even putting them again will be our biggest mistake again and again ...

Look at leaders who fight for indians, who dare to stand and demand the government to give Indian our rights deemed, leaders who are in and out of jail for the cause of another Indian .... Willing leaders to champion poor Indian issues like land issue, University Seats, Burial grounds, employment , basic necessities like welfare for poor deserving Indians, temples , churches , education and elevating the standard of living for youths and young Indian boy's and girls.

WHO ARE THE LEADERS FIGHTING FOR ALL THIS NOWADAYS SINCE 2007 ????

HUMAN RIGHT PARTY - RIGHTS NOT MERCY

Indian poor poorer than Orang Asli, Kadazan Iban countrary to popular belief!

Indian poor are poorer than Orang Asli, Kadazan Iban countrary to popular believe, but gets the least attention by UMNO, PKR, DAP, PAS, NGOs and the Malaysian civic society. While we have maintained that the Indian poor in effect are poorer than the Orang Asli, Kadazan or Iban poor, this latest case of a 74 year old lady Ammakannu Munusamy is the clearest example yet ever.
In her sunset years Ammakannu, 74, a former plantation worker is being denied even the very basic welfare help or low cost flat (public housing) help. All because she is a poor Malaysian Indian.
Ammakannu’s home is a mere temporary attap roof, three attap walls, four small three trunks holding the roof and even no cement floor with the ground being the top soil in Kampong Tan Sri Manickavasagam, Pulau Carey, Selangor. Her home has no electricity or water supply and she probably relies on rain water as drinking water. She has no if not meagre personal possessions and that too her one or two pairs of change of clothes.
A picture speaks a thousand words. This picture below speaks of the thousands of mysteries Ammakannu is going through on a day to day basis.
R. Kaniappan (60) and his wife P. Nagambal (59) living in an almost similar hut and surviving by eating the left over food thrown away by the local restaurant. Two weeks ago another Indian family of S. Saraswathy  because of hardcore poverty is forced to eat rice and porridge with salt being the side dish.
Some months ago three siblings of a single mother parent in Sungai Petani ate sand because of hunger. Indian poor city folks cannot even afford to pay their water bills and low cost flats of even RM 124 per month.
This case of Ammakannu and the others is just the tip of the iceberg of the Indian poor preserved as the poor and the creating of the future Indian poor by the UMNO controlled Malaysian regime @ junta.
An Indian poor is even poorer that those in Tamil Nadu, India or Bangladesh foreign workers in Malaysia because at the end of their working stint in Malaysia, they all have a village to go back to in Tamilnadu India or Bangladesh.
The Orang Asli, Kadazan, Iban and poor Malays all have their traditional villages and ancestral land as their social safety net which the Malaysian Indian poor do not have. The Orang Asli, Kadazan, Iban and Malay poor can open up as much land as they want next to their villages for agriculture or lifestock breeding which option is never available to an Indian poor
The Orang Asli and the rest have their community and/or family support which the childless destitute Indian poor in Malaysia do not have. The Indian poor in Malaysia most often end up in the likes of Ammakannu, Kaniappan, Nagambal etc. The reality is for most of them only death can relieve them of their day to day misery. The 600% higher suicide rate among the Indians when compared to the Malays may explain this.
Providing welfare to the hardcore poor, the destitute and the handicapped is the basic duty of any government, but Umno has deliberately failed the Indians.
UMNO has somehow succeeded in hiding this fact from all and sundry so much so that very few Malaysians including the Indian elite want to lend voice to these Indian poor.
And by the Malaysian civil society standards unlike the western civil society, none or very little see these Indian poor or want to see these Indian poor.
And when HRP and Hindraf points out this level of Indian poverty we turn in get accused of being racist including by Anwar Ibrahim and the Indian elite to avoid, divert and dilute a very serious problem but with the least political mileage or to be wanting to be seen as politically correct.

Indian group sore with DBP over Bahasa dictionary

KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 — An Indian literature group has accused the Education Ministry of denying non-Malays rights to Bahasa Malaysia by saying the Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) dictionary belonged only to Malays and cannot be questioned by other races.

Kayvan Literary Group (Kayvan) president Uthaya Sankar SB said today the ministry’s stand showed it was trying to deny that the national language belonged to all Malaysians regardless of race.

“A response like this that represents the Malaysian government will surely frustrate noble attempts to raise the status and dignity of Bahasa Malaysia, as well as efforts to build Bangsa Malaysia,” he said in a statement.

This comes on the heels of the Education Ministry’s response to a report in Tamil daily Makkal Osai on March 31 that the Kamus Dewan contained words offensive to Indians.

The ministry’s statement had stressed that words in the Kamus Dewan must be seen from the Malay perspective and not from that of other races, pointing out it compiled words used in Bahasa Malaysia, including those borrowed from other languages like English, Chinese, Sanskrit, Tamil, Dutch and Arabic.

It said that all races in Malaysia must accept the fact that the Bahasa Malaysia dictionary reflects Malay language, customs and culture.

“There are words used daily that are regarded as obscene by other races but not to Malays. There are also words that are considered precious to Malays but seen as insulting by other races,” the statement by the ministry’s corporate communications unit said.

“All that is part of the customs and culture of the Malays and should not be questioned.”

DBP is under the supervision of the Education Ministry. The Kamus Dewan, first published by DBP in 1970, is now in its fourth edition.

Uthaya Sankar also pointed out today that the statement ran counter to the government’s goal of getting young people of all races to use Bahasa Malaysia, as well as efforts to get parents to send their children to national schools.

“The ministry should take steps to democratise Bahasa Malaysia and not restrict it to a particular race,” he said.

He warned that if no action is taken to clarify the misleading statement published on the ministry’s official online portal, Bahasa Malaysia risks being seen as a language that belongs to one race only.

Uthaya Sankar, nonetheless, said that Kayvan, founded in October 1999, will continue to uphold Bahasa Malaysia as the language of all Malaysians.

1Racist M’sia a success amongst youth

I was disgusted after I heard the story that was relayed to me by my daughter and it compelled me to write about it.

It seems that the indoctrination of racism into the minds of the rakyat, especially the Malays, does not stop at government departments nor BTN for the working adults but has steadily and surely gained a foothold in public colleges/universities and now even in sekolah menengah in Malaysia.

My daughter had attended an extra curricular society meeting in school recently.

During this meeting, the three teachers in charge of this society had announced that they have tickets to a certain event to be given out to students. However, due to limited tickets, they had suggested
drawing of lots. Which to me is fair and square.

Apparently, after the lots were drawn and tickets were distributed to the successful draws, some students were unhappy that they did not get the tickets.

What happened next disgusted me.

A Malay student who had failed to secure a ticket stood up and commented that tickets should have been distributed according to the race quota as practised in Malaysia! Imagine, this coming from a Form 4 student.

Even the three teachers were shocked to hear what that student had just said. The student also had a few supporters amongst her peers who agreed with her comment.

Fortunately, one of the teachers who is Malay, told the students that the school does not practise discrimination and that all students are equal and tickets given after the drawing of lots was fair and just. Hence the discussion on the matter should stop there.

Imagine, a secondary school 16-year-old having said this. She has not even begun working, so one would speculate she must have been told of her ‘rights’ either at home or by her racist peers or elders.

This is just one example in one form in one school, what might be the situation in the other forms across the schools? And worse, what if this is the attitude they have been hearing from their own teachers?

Imagine the detrimental impact to the future of this country with our youth showing such racist behaviour from such a young age?

Apparently, Najib’s 1Malaysia is not working and is proving to be so, what with Perkasa and other racist NGOs spewing racist comments that undermine his ‘efforts’.

The PM seems to stand alone with his so called ‘vision’, when some of his own Umno peers are distancing themselves from his vision.

Remember Muhyiddin’s comments, “I am a Malay first before I am a Malaysian”? And this guy plans to take over from Najib in the near future? What will Malaysia become? How do you expect all the races in Malaysia to live in harmony when some of us are painted as lesser than another race, that we are squatters, that we are undeserving because of our background and skin colour?

We, the non-Malays, have also contributed in one way or another through blood (the Emergency), sweat (toiling in tin mines, rubber estates and forest), tears (hardship and endurance) to help bring this country to where it is today.

Slowly but surely since 1970 and the NEP, we have seen severe discrimination of our social, economic, educational and political rights with no end in sight. Is this what 1Malaysia is about as professed by Najib?

Then, we might as well stay the way we are and just turn a blind eye towards the country, which is exactly what is happening now. Brain drain, migrations, flight of investment either local or foreign is all a result of the government’s racist and perverse policies that do not seem to be abating in the near future, especially with such young citizens already spewing the poison from their thoughts and mouths.

What the future holds, only God knows.

UMNO denies Hindu class in schools when whole of Fridays taken up for Islamic classes and prayers. 80% truancy on Fridays by non muslims.

And the non Malay muslim students are excepted to study moral lessons (as if they are immoral) or loiter around school, do their own work etc., so much so that students are refusing to go to school because for them almost the whole day is wasted.

So UMNO uses their Hindu Sangam to do the usual kosong wayang kulit and  keep giving false hopes of “Tamil religious lessons to be held in schools soon” (see The Star 15/4/2011 at page N61).
With the key words being “to be held” and “soon” as in the future continuous sense.

Media: Ibu Kecewa Sikap Pengetua

SHAH ALAM, 16 April 2011 – Seorang ibu di sini melahirkan rasa kecewa terhadap sikap pengetua sebuah sekolah menengah kebangsaan yang tidak mahu mengambil tindakan terhadap lapan pelajar yang memukul anaknya.

Ibu itu berkata, dalam kejadian pada 13 April 2011, anaknya mengalami kecederaan teruk selepas dipukul di kawasan sekolah.

“Selepas membawa anak saya ke hospital bagi mendapat rawatan, saya ke balai polis untuk membuat laporan kerana bimbang berikutan anak saya luka di kepala, tangan dan lebam di badan,” kata suri rumah itu dalam aduannya kepada Uthaya Sankar SB dari Perunding Media, Motivasi dan Penerbitan Uthaya (Uthaya’s Media, Motivation and Publication Consultancy), di sini, hari ini.

Menurut keterangan bertulis oleh salah seorang saksi, pelajar Tingkatan Tiga itu dipukul menggunakan kerusi sebelum dipijak, ditendang dan dibaling kasut oleh lapan pelajar Tingkatan Empat.

“Pada pagi 15 April, saya ke sekolah untuk bertemu pengetua tetapi kecewa kerana terpaksa menunggu lebih sejam. Pengetua datang lewat ke sekolah dan kemudian duduk makan di kantin.

“Apabila akhirnya saya bertemu beliau, pengetua itu berkata, beliau tidak mahu masuk campur kes ini walaupun kejadian berlaku di kawasan sekolah,” kata suri rumah itu.

We appreciate this ex Perak Nizar Jamaluddin’s motion at the Perak State Assembly on Hindraf Not Secretary P. Ramesh being assaulted by the police, leading to him being warded at the Ipoh General hospital for merely peacefully gathering in front of the Perak State Assembly demanding land for Indian poor village Kg DBI in Ipoh, Perak.

For the very first time ever such a motion had been moved in Malay-sia, arising from Indian poor, by Pas, DAP and PKR and also being supported by the ex de facto deputy Chief Minister of Perak Ngeh Koo Ham. This is the true PKR, DAP and PAS multi-racialism that we want to see, and that we have been complaining PKR, DAP and PAS has refused to do.

Nizar Jamaluddin and Ngeh Koo Ham should have also similarly moved a motion, held public forums, public protests also for the Kg DBI Indian village and all other Indian villages, all Hindu temples and cemeteries and all 138 Tamil schools in Perak to all be once and for all be granted Perak state government land.

When these land are granted it would effectively solve at least half the Indian problems in Perak vis a vis Malaysia when similarly done at Parliament and at the national level. This would also give the Indian poor a permanent solution as opposed to the present “wayang kulit” and piecemeal solutions especially using the UMNO, PKR, DAP and PAS Indian mandores. This would naturally make Hindraf and HRP irrelevant and die a natural death.

Our challenge to PKR, DAP and PAS leadership is to make Hindraf and HRP irrelevant. We are not desperate politicians. We have been forced into politics out of necessity and because we did not want PKR, DAP and PAS to amongst others engage in mandore politics and take the Indians poor for a another 50 years of ride as what UMNO had done in the previous 50 years.

It makes that difference when a Malay and Chinese PKR, DAP and PAS leaders champion a serious and pressing Indian problem. If and only if this first real move by PKR, DAP & PAS becomes the order of the day as is practiced in the western civil societies where the majority and economically powerful bend backwards to champion the plight of the minorities, then we don’t need Indian MPs’ and ADUNS’. We are even prepared to abandon HRP’s Project 15/38 if these western civil society standards of multi-racialism is practiced in One Malay-sia.

Be that as it may we have not forgotten the racism PKR, DAP and PAS led by ex PAS Perak Menteri Besar Nizar Jamaluddin where land in Perak was granted to just about every other community in Perak during their 11 month rule of Perak meaning the Malays, Chinese the Orang Asli and even the private Premier International University, except the Indian poor as follows as outlined at pages 23 and 24 of Uthayakumar’s book “Malaysian Indian Political Empowerment Strategy” and reproduced herein below:-

This was done with lightning speed and in about one month of the Selangor and Perak State governments taking power. “Perak ingkar arahan Majlis Tanah Negara” was the headlines in Utusan Malaysia on 1/1/2009 which reported that “349 Rancangan Perkampungan Tersusun (RPT) and 134 New Villages in Perak with 110,000 and 102,000 (60,000) titles respectively to be given out irrespective of the National Land Councils orders involving almost all Malay and Chinese owners and land recipients. Freehold titles for just RM63.00 for 110,000 planned villages (almost 99% Malay) and 102,000 (60,000) (estimated at almost 99% Chinese) Chinese New Villagers in Perak. “The value of these properties will then go up and they can apply for bank loans to rebuilt their houses” says Datuk Ngae Koo Ham, the Senior DAP EXCO Member for Perak (NST 10/10/2008 at page 23). The PKR, DAP and PAS Perak State government also allocated 1,000 hectares (about 2,500 acres) of land to nine Chinese schools “for them to generate revenue to pay for their perational expenses” says PAS Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Nizar Jamaluddin (NST 31/8/2008 at page 38). The schools were urged to form a company to work the land and share the profits among themselves. The Pakatan Rakyat Menteri Besar also donated RM30,000.00 for each of the nine schools. Even after UMNO/BN taking over power in Perak in February 2009, the new UMNO Menteri Besar Zambry Kadir in about one months time confirms “State BN to carry on with (permanent) land title plan to the said 132 Chinese New Villages and in the 349 (Malay) planned villages (NST 7/3/2009) and “The BN Government in Perak will give due consideration to the 1,000 hectre piece of land meant to help the nine Chinese independent schools in the state to be financially self reliant said BN Menteri Besar Zambry after flagging off a cross country run involving representatives of the independent Chinese schools (The Star 8/3/2009). The Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Zambry Kadir said a solution would be worked out to safeguard the interests of the orang asli community and customary rights to their ancestral land. It is a state priority. (NST 9/3/2009 at page 8). But what about land for the landless indians, tamil schools, Hindu temples and crematoriums? Why is this not a state priority by both UMNO and PR. Because we are Indians? This the clearest ever and latest example of how both UMNO/BN and PAS, PKR, DAP/PR does not care for the Indians.

Then the 3.3 hectares of land for every orang asli family was approved. 18,000 hectares of forest land have been gazetted as orang asli reserve and another 30,000 hectares more are waiting to be gazetted, says Perak Senior EXCO Member Datuk Ngae Koo Ham (NST 20/9/2008 at page 20). The PR Perak State government then again granted a 99 year lease for 101 hectares of land to the proposed RM450 million and private profit motivated Premier International University and with the possibility of an additional 20 hectares (NST 18/9/2008 at page 20).

But 110 out of 138 or about 80% of the Tamil schools in Perak are still not fully aided because the land these schools are sitting on does not belong to these schools and on this grounds the UMNO Federal government has refused to grant full financial assistance to these schools. (UM 3/9/2008 at page 27).
