Tamil schools in cabins but 1,938 new classrooms completed for 58,140 malay muslims pupils

This is the statement made by the UMNO Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Muhyiddin Yassin. (UM 5/1/10 at page 2).

But the Tamil media reported that most of the 523 Tamil schools are facing a shortage of classrooms. Worst still no tables and chairs, computers, library books, proper sports equipment for these schools and the pre existing poor Indian parents have to chip in to buy this for their school going children. And the Indian pupils at the Ladang Labu Tamil school are to study at five cabins (The Star 5/1/10 at page N13)

Fully funded schools is the responsibility of any government including in poverty stricken Somalia and dictatorship Zimbabwe. But all these neglect and discrimination can only happen in Prime Minister Najib Razak’s One Malay – sia .
