From P Uthayakumar,
Umno’s insistence on retaining Interlok after all the public outcry and allowing only 19 out of 106 proposed amendments is akin to proposing the editing of Satanic Verses and lifting its ban in Malaysia.
What is the motive for still being adamant on retaining this book if not for Umno’s racist and supremacist agenda in continuing to subjudicate especially the Indian poor?
It is in direct contravention of Articles 8 and 12 of the Federal Constitution which guarantees equality before the law and that there shall be no discrimination against any citizen on the grounds only of religion, race, descent or place of birth.
We are unable to accept the book whose original version had the racially insulting and derogatory and degressive “paria” word, “dark skinned Indians”, “memamah sireh seperti kambing”, etc. as the racist basis and thereafter retaining the remaining parts in the book for example replacing “paria” with “golongan yang sama”.
The Umno education minister by accepting a mere 20% or 19 out of the 106 amendments proposed by the Interlok panel makes a mockery of the said independent panel. The three Indian representatives were, as usual, ultimately made use of to endorse Umno’s racism.
The lesson yet again learnt from this is that the Indian elite should in future refrain from accepting such “Indian mandore” positions.
We once again call for Interlok to be replaced by the Nov 25, 2007 Hindraf Rally novel by P Uthayakumar (see www.humanrightspartymalaysia.com).
It analyses amongst others the real racial and religious harmony and co-existence that existed even immediately after independence 54 years ago, and which has today regretfully ceased to exist, and the gross acts of Umno racism that led to Nov 25 Indian poor popular uprising.
Also in the hope that the present Form Five Malay, Muslim students in particular, as the future leaders would be able to better understand and hopefully undo the gross injustices meted out to especially the Malaysian Indian poor.
Irrespective, HRP and Hindraf will continue with our struggle beyond Interlok which is really Umno racism on a day to basis meted out against the Indian poor.
Our latest firm and uncompromising stand against Umno racism and religious supremacy is evidenced by the 53 Hindraf Makkal Sakthi human rights defenders being maliciously prosecuted within one week of this month alone.
They are the only human rights activists in the world to have ever been prosecuted for merely being a member of a human rights NGO. Over 300 were arrested on Feb 27, Hindraf rally alone (123 or 109 plus the 14 candle light vigillers officially acknowledged by police).

Hindraf will not let Interlok rest
The movement's chairman P Waythamoorthy also slams Muhyiddin Yassin for using high-handed tactics to silence the critics.
PETALING JAYA: Hindraf Makkal Sakthi has vowed not to close the chapter on the Interlok controversy until the government withdraws the book from schools.
In a statement, its chairman P Waythamoorthy also took Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to task for using “high-handed” tactics to silence the critics.
“Muhyiddin, with the the support of his toothless allies encourage segregation of Malaysians by retaining such sardonic literature in the school curriculum for juveniles.
“By using media tools such as Utusan Malaysia and Malay Mail to defend its act, it shows that Umno is adamant in perpetuating its ‘master and slave methodology’ between the Malay supremacists and the minorities,” he said.
Upset that the government rejected reasoning and concerns voiced by various NGOs, Waythamoorthy called on the public to rise against the blatant disregard for the feelings of the minorities.
“And we must ensure that the minorities’ future generations will prosper in tandem with the majority instead of having their sacrifice hijacked by a fascist Umno,” he said.
Yesterday, Muhyiddin, who is also education minister, announced that the government had either dropped, changed or substituted 19 parts considered offensive by the Indian community from the novel.
He explained that the changes were made following the recommendations by the independent panel set in January to review the controversial novel.
Among the words substituted was the word “tuhan” with “dewa” and also the dropping of the phrase “orang berkulit hitam” (dark-skinned people).
The remaining 87 parts recommended were not considered offensive by the government.
Unhappy with the outcome, DAP’s Ipoh Barat MP M Kulasegaran traded verbal blows with Muhyiddin in Parliament when the latter said the novel would continue to be used in schools.
Muhyiddin defended his decision by saying that even MIC had agreed to the amendments.

HOW TO PROTEST AGAINST INTERLOK ONCE AGAIN?

The Education Minister have broken his silence ...He said "The government today confirmed the retention of the controversial “Interlok” novel for the secondary school syllabus, choosing only to amend parts deemed insensitive to the country’s Tamil community.
At last we know , he have made his stand on the interlok issue.
Now , what are we going to do about that?
Lets be united now in this issue of INTERLOK , lets state our disagreement about this book for our children in School . Our panel have staged a walk out and still they don't want to listen to the views of 3 Indian educationist . what does that means then ...and why are the 3 was put into the panel for what purpose.
According to a friend of mine, a secondary Bahasa Teacher said , Interlok is a Bahasa Malaysia paper 2 subject of which interlok is one of the novel to be studied by the students. In SPM examination , these questions pertaining Interlok carries a mark of 20% the maximum. ( pleas correct me if i am wrong in this issue)
So, Indian students need this 20% for getting a A+ or A- or A for SPM Bahasa paper. That's a reality and a fact now.
Lets examine these carefully through this 2 examples of choices :-
1) Say that our INDIAN students refuse to take up INTERLOK and just sit in the class ... They will be asked to do work on interlok as homework , failing to they can be given 3 times warning , then suspension and thrown out of school. If this students sit for SPM exam and just leave it blank on INTERLOK question ,,then they will lose abt 20% of thier marks making them to obtain a B or C for Bahasa Malaysia. They can secure few % if they write somethings in the interlok issue as this is a written paper and it carries some marks and maybe our students will get about 5 or 6 % out of it. This students will not get all straight A's for SPM for sure . They will able to secure a place in Universities or collages too. If they opt out to work , they still can find a job in government sector for a credit in Bahasa Malaysia.
That's how I look at it at this moment of time ? Are we ready to accept this fact and continue to ask our kids not to study INTERLOK.
2) Say that our students take up INTERLOK but refuse to write the Bahasa Paper 2 on the part of interlok in the SPM examination ...just leaving it blank but doing homework at the classroom level... ignore but just write some nonsense into their homework sheets just like the Indian students doesn't understand INTERLOK ( buat blur aje), then the school can't punish them. if this students sit for SPM exam and leave it blank , They will lose abt 20% of thier marks making them to obtain a B or C for Bahasa Malaysia. This students will not get all straight A's for SPM for sure . They will able to secure a place in Universities or collages too. So that's how i look at it .... Are we ready to stand firm in this matter ... shall we ask our Indian students to ignore or to follow the rules of the education ministry. I am abit upset about it now .... my fear is our INDIAN students become victims of a stupid INTERLOK.
My genuine suggestion ....
Lets united and fight against this stupid INTERLOK , we create rally and picket and sent our Indian's again to the street . Lets invite foreign TV network such as CNN, BBC, ALjazerra and others worldwide to televise our plights. Lets go again to the streets ( NON VIOLENCE and NO FIGHTING ) AND DEMONSTRATE OUR REMORSE OF INTERLOK ....
Listen dear Parents ,
HINDRAF fights an NON VIOLENCE fight .... be with us and come together for the sake of our own kids now and in future FORM 5 students . WE need to remove Interlok .... forget of other things especially which party we belong to or which group we belong to . Let us for once come as INDIANS , no matter what political parties we belong to. Be it MIC, PPP, DAP, KEADILAN, HINDRAF OR WHATEVER PARTY WE BELONG TO. LETS JOIN HANDS AND FACE THE INTERLOK ISSUE.
FOR PARENTS, COME AS IT INVOLVES YOUR KIDS FUTURE, NO MATTER YR SON OR YR DAUGHTER IS IN STANDARD ONE OR FORM 5, REMIND YOUR GOOD-SELF THAT ONE DAY YOUR OWN KIDS WILL GO THRU IT TOO ... THERE IS NO RUN AWAY CASE IN THIS MATTER.... LETS FACE IT.
I pledge and want commitment from all INDIAN'S from all background, profession, big, small, INDIAN Tan Sri, Datoks, and all layman ...come one come all ...for the sake of our poor INDIAN children ...please i beg all of you.
Start talking about Interlok and get a copy and read it yourselves and understand what a discrimination we are being held to... then only ...we would able to stand tall and demonstrate our non giving in to this stupid book called INTERLOK.
Racist and biased UMNO Court of Appeal led by C.J Tun Zaki Tun Azmi clears Malay-sian police murderers of G. Francis Udayappan at Malay-sian police station – killing fields of Indians. See gruesome photos below.
Francis Udayappan was murdered at the Brickfields police station and thrown into the Klang River behind that very same police station.

P. Uthayakumar, S. Jayathas and ten others were arrested for holding a peaceful assembly and carrying a mock coffin to the Brickfields police station in April 2005.
Francis’ body was kept at the P.J University Hospital for nearly 2 years. Francis head with injuries was destroyed and only parts of the skull and a highly decomposed flesh and bones were handed over to his mother Sara Lily and that too about 2 years later.
We had no confidence in the Inquest at the K.L magistrates Court and heard by Malay muslim coroner Mohd. Sham.

And now the 95% Malay muslim dominated Malay-sian Judiciary and in the Court of Appeal Judges Datuk Hasan Lah, Datuk Abdul Malik Ishak & Datuk Mokhtaruddin Baki after 6 years decides that the police

So who murdered Francis then? And right in the heart of the UMNO Malay muslim police station killing field of in particular Indian youths.

Interlok karya propaganda Umno

Court throws out ex-ISA detainees’ RM200m suit
Former ISA detainees M Manoharan and P Uthayakumar lose their bid to sue Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak and five others.

Judicial Commissioner Harmindar Singh Dhaliwal allowed the application by Najib and the five others to strike out the suit after hearing submissions from Manoharan, who represented himself and Uthayakumar, and senior federal counsel Najib Zakaria and Azizan Md Arshad who appeared for Najib and the others.
The five others are former prime minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein, former inspector-general of police Musa Hassan, the Taiping detention centre superintendent and the government.
Azizan told reporters the judge allowed the application with RM5,000 costs.
When asked for the grounds on which the application was granted, Azizan said there was no issue to be tried in the suit filed by the two ISA detainees.
He said he had submitted that the claim and the damages sought by the plaintiff in the suit could not be sustained as the High Court had ruled in their habeas corpus application that their detention was lawful.
Manoharan said he would appeal against today’s outcome.
In the striking-out application, Najib and the five other defendants said the suit filed by Manoharan and Uthayakumar on Dec 9 last year was frivolous, vexatious and an abuse of the court process.
They said the suit was directly related to a case which had been disposed of by the High Court and Federal Court.
In their suit, Manoharan and Uthayakumar had sought RM100 million each in damages and an annual interest of 8% on the grounds that they had been wrongfully detained for 514 days from Dec 13, 2007, to May 9, 2009.

Does it feel like a bunch of gangsters are running this country?
The most recent act by UMNO to try and kill off Anwar with a lowly sex video moved me to write this article. Because it increasingly feels like we are living in a country run by gangsters.
What characterizes gangsters? Is there any difference between what gangsters do and what UMNO is doing?
Use of force, fear, bribes, threats, violence, deceit, unchallengeable positions, indulgence, and parasitic existence and not worrying about appearances would be a reasonable answer to the first question.
To answer the second question “Is there any difference?” I will examine how UMNO performs in many of these dimensions to answer that question.
1) Force –The Police, the Attorney General’s office, the Courts (I will call them the Unholy Trio from now on) are the instruments of force of UMNO.
You see them figuring prominently in all occasions where UMNO’s lawlessness are questioned. Being involved with Hindraf Makkal Sakthi, I can tell you that, without batting an eyelid– our people are constantly threatened with detention under ISA, or with charges of sedition, or are charged with being involved in an illegal organization after UMNO unconstitutionally and unlawfully outlawed Hindraf. The form of force used and the way it is administered may vary in specifics between the gangsters and UMNO but in essence they are the same – UMNO and the gangsters equally resort to force because that is the sole source of their power. UMNO has lost its moral legitimacy in its claim for power and hangs on to power only because of the control of the instruments of force – the Unholy Trio being the prime instruments. The gangsters never had moral or legitimate basis for claims to power, their claim to power hinges only on one thing – the use of raw and brutal force.
2) Fear – UMNO so readily instills fear just like the local gangsters.
UMNO uses the Unholy Trio along with the Media, and when necessary the underworld members to achieve this. The Police have a special unit the Special Branch just for this – the Malaysian Gestapo. Every so often we see battalions of the Light Strike Force or the Federal Reserve Units to disallow, to disrupt, to frighten off citizen’s gatherings. You should have seen the hundreds at the anti –Interlok forums throughout the country and the thousands at KLCC for Hindraf’s Solidarity March against UMNO’s racism. This is exactly what the local gang boss. Putting in the fear of god they say. What the gang boss does is what UMNO is doing.
3) Threats – The laws enacted by UMNO – ISA, Publishing and Printing Presses Act, Official Secrets Act, Seditions Act, Police Act and even the MACC are all actually devices crafted by UMNO that threaten all those that dare cross the line.
This is the primary purpose of these acts and organizations, though more noble intentions are proffered to legitimize them. But the true intentions of these are to act as a sword over the heads of any that dare. The Media for its part carries statements from time to time from the Ministers, from the IGP, from the Attorney General, from UMNO stalwarts, from Right wing Perkasa or carries images and reports of the Police overpowering any attempts to challenge them or of right wing demonstrations threatening the rest. But the purpose is one – to pre-empt potential trouble makers. The gang bosses just use outright threats, they do not need these more sophisticated devices. As the saying goes, cut the throat of one chicken in front of all the monkeys so the monkeys will behave themselves. In that sense the devices of threatening may be different but both UMNO and Gangsters use threats to remain in power.
4) Violence – What happened in Kampung Medan in 2005 is a clear example of the workings of the Unholy Trio, the Media and the underworld in the meting out violence whenever they see a need.
A little further back we had the May 13th riots and May 13th is still a keyword for violence . Hundreds of police killing and maiming continue till today in UMNO’s Police Stations. The Police in the fore and the Armed Forces at the back are nothing more than UMNO’s killing machines. The threat of violence that UMNO can unleash, should it decide to, is what holds much of the opposition back. Violence is the bread and butter of gangsters and it is the bread and butter of UMNO. UMNO and the gangsters understand this very well.
5) Bribes – When expediency requires and it is wiser, then UMNO bribes to clear their way of trouble makers.
They buy up leaders of groups outside their circle of influence. They make “mafia offers”. They use skeletons in cupboards to assist them, as we see regularly happening in buying up of the opposition members of the legislature. Other forms of bribe, we see at election times. There is a free flow of gifts, goodies and promises. These are tidbits used to corrupt and remove obstacles or create perceptions while UMNO walks away with the loot – to UMNO these bribes are nothing more than the cost of doing business. Gangsters for their part use bribes to share their bounty when attempting to get at very large bounties. It is a cost of doing business for them too.
6) Unchallengeable positions – UMNO’s positions on issues are unchallengeable, just like it is with the local gangster. You challenge at the risk of losing everything.
6) Unchallengeable positions – UMNO’s positions on issues are unchallengeable, just like it is with the local gangster. You challenge at the risk of losing everything.

Another clear case in point is what UMNO is doing to Anwar Ibrahim. He gets all kinds of s*** thrown at him and with increasing frequency just because he dares to challenge the UMNOPutras. Challenge at great personal risk – they will ruin you if they can. Their position must not be challenged. This is very clearly the ways of gangsters too. The hallmark of a gangleader is one who has overcome all those who have challenged him and anyone who challenges the leader must lose or the leader loses his basis to continue
as a leader. Exactly the case with Najib –ala UMNO and UMNO ala the people.
7) Deceit – “Biji setelor, rio sekampung” as the Malay proverb goes. UMNO throws a tid bit here, a tidbit there and the media steps in and creates perceptions of a totally benevolent and caring UMNO.
UMNO holds the reins of the media tight. UMNO is able to manufacture perceptions in people that are so far removed from the truth that the lies are more real the reality itself. You speak the truth and no one listens to you, for they think you distort, for personal advantage. UMNO has established monopoly over their minds and UMNO will do with it what they want. They deceive the people and leave the rest of us biting the mud.
UMNO caught between getting the non-Malay votes and increasing their appeal to the Malays use their outsource vehicle, Perkasa to create a perception of the Malays losing out to the non-Malays because the Malays are split. The reality is both the Malay And non-Malay people are losing out to the UMNO leaders and their Non-Malay elite accomplices as they use this perception to delude the people and walk off with the loot. No one really listens to this truth, they think it is distorted for personal use. This is a very refined deceit-making machine that we are up against.
On this count UMNO has improved over the gangsters, recognizing they have to operate within a community of nations and have to be seen to be in accord with norms of civilization. They worry about how they will be perceived, they need to legitimize their position, the gangster does not have to.
So, except for this last point there is really not much difference between gangsters running this country and UMNO running this country. UMNO is nothing short of being dignified gangsters. This truth may look far- fetched, but you think about what I have said, deeply. Just think about it.
If you agree, then do not be the person UMNO, the gangster wants you to be, the meek and powerless person. Look at what is happening in Egypt, Tunisia and Yemen. When all the people get together, the empire crumbles, because the true sovereign is the people united. We have to move out and into the light, to a future based on competence, not on force.
The people have to get out from the grips of gangsters.

'Pariah' dropped from Interlok, says Muhyiddin
The word 'pariah' has been dropped from the secondary school Malay literature textbook 'Interlok', Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said.
He said the word, which sparked a firestorm of protests from the Indian community, is among several references deemed offensive to Indians which have been omitted from the version used in schools.
Muhyiddin said the independent panel set up to study the novel, which included three Indian representatives, have unanimously agreed to replace the word pariah with "golongan yang sama" (the same group).
"With the agreement that was reached, the (Education) Ministry considers this issue solved," he said during question time in Parliament today.

Muhyiddin, who is also Education Minister, said the panel had also gone through a total of 106 amendment proposals to the school version of the novel, presented by the Indian representatives on the panel to the government.
The list however was whittled down to 19 issues that the panel deemed related to the sensitivities of the Indian community.
Of the 19 issues, three were considered solved with the omission of the word 'pariah' from the novel, while the panel ruled that three other issues - the fact that Hindus revere the cow as a holy animal, the safety of Maniam's wife in India and the description of an Indian wedding as tedious - did not touch on Indian sensitivities.
Seven other issues were marked with errata for editing or omission while six more issues raised were solved by changing the word 'tuhan' with 'dewa' and by dropping the phrase 'orang berkulit hitam' (blacked skinned people) from the novel.
“The ministry will include a glossary to explain various phrases and concepts in the novel Interlok, to help students understand the text and context of the novel that presents a harmonious life in our country's multi-racial society,” Muhyiddin said.
'What Indian representatives?'
M Kulasegaran (DAP-Ipoh Barat), however, stood to interject mid-way into the Deputy Prime Minister's answer, accusing the latter of being an agent provocateur for even allowing the controversial book to be used as a school reference.
Launching into a nearly 20-minute tirade, Kulasegaran charged that Muhyiddin was giving in to “racist NGOs” such as Gapena in defending the use of 'Interlok' as a school reference, while also denying that the three Indian representatives were part of the panel.
Kulasegaran's interjection sparked a prolonged war of words between backbenchers and opposition members, even testing the patience of the usually calm deputy speaker Ronald Kiandee - who for the first time hammered the mallet to call for order.
Later, at a press conference in the Parliament lobby, Kulasegaran repeated that it is not true that the three Indian representatives were even on the panel, maintaining the claim that they had quit the panel over its rejection of some 100 recommendations on the book.

He said one of the Indian representatives who withdrew, Uthaya Sankar SB, again confirmed that they quit the panel during a forum on Interlok held at the KL and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall last night.
“What is shocking is that MIC agreed (with the panel). MIC is a double-headed snake, as they can tell the Tamil newspapers that they are against it but tell the government that they support.
“It is astonishing and I am flabbergasted by the whole thing. It shows something is very wrong in this country,” he said.
Kulasegaran stressed that the government needs to come up with a consistent education policy and not allow controversial books such as 'Interlok' to be used as school references.
“If they can use 'Interlok', then why not use 'Shit'? They banned that book, but what is the difference? The Deputy Prime Minister is trying to justify the little napoleons in his ministry who made the decision to use the book,” he said, making a reference to the banned political satire book written by Shahnon Ahmad.

HOW WE GOING TO UNITE .... INDIANS AS ONE COMMUNITY UNDER HINDRAF
By, Johnson Doss
My brother Sara Be My asked just now ( HOW WE ARE GOING TO UNITE) ,,,, so i would like to suggest the followings for our brothers and sisters to read and see how can we do it to create oneness among Indian's.
Indian's are always symbolized with the crab story ,,,, well how far that is true ..no one knows .... but it has been proven that's the case in most places whether it is in our home, business or with out friends and community.
Unity means oneness in thought, feelings, caring, love and sacrifice .... and much more ... Unity can be achieved even-tho it takes a lot of effort, time and sacrifice and it wont be a easy task as it comes from the time we are born and we are fed with the meaning of unity by our parents and their example of self sacrifice. It means we who are working towards unity might not even see it in our life time. That's a fact and reality .... we must accept it ...
1ST AND FOREMOST .... Are we ready to stand to gather, when we are faced with challenges no matter what the issue is all about .... are we able to put our differences and stand to gather when a issue is need to be addressed in public or in private , Are we willing to go to the extend losing our government job or corporate positions when we Indian's are challenged .
Please ask your kind self first these questions before we talk about Unity ,,,as i told u it have many obstacles and challenges and sacrifices before we could even stand united .
ARE WE PREPARED FOR ALL THIS ???????
If we are prepared then to gather we can achieve all that we desire as a community and for the generation of our children in near future. So far, of my observation .... only about 30% or so will dare to stand united ,,,, many will shame away .... Our problem is not new ,,, its have been within us for more then donkey years now. Giving you a example .... THE MAIKA issue ,,,,, when the shares are not been evenly distributed and only a handful took advantage of it ... ( THE MIC leadership made the most of it ) so many poor estate Indian's was cheated ... how would the poor people felt at that moment of time when their Life savings just gone into the think air before them . IF we would stood up for the truth and made pickets like what HINDRAF is doing now with the government ,,,, i am very sure the poor would have got their investment back. We were all minding our own business and our own backyard , not caring for the poor estate Indian's... This includes me ... I was busy talking and shouting about the scam in the mamak shop but whats the use of it .... nothing came out from my shouting ..i was just barking at the mountains ... i tell u today , thinking of that ...make me ashamed of being an Indian for another Indian. My heart burns as i write it down now .... If only i would have a group like this with all of you supporting ...I would dare to fight against the SCAM at that moment . I would also dare to shoot down those culprits if i possess a gun at that moment of time .
TODAY, seeing that even MIC have done that to my fellow poor estate Indians, the UMNO putras have dared to go further. Lets ask ourselves, who gave this UMNO such an opportunity to ridicule and step on our heads . It was us . We would be respected if that day we stand UNITED to fight for poor estate Indian's. They smelled our weakness and they took controlled of it ... NOW we face all this challenges such as Interlok, HINDRAF registration, Tamil schools, temple demolishing, chances for best Indian students and much more to come in future.
To be united ... we have to first prepare ourselves to be the sacrifice lamb. Going In and Out of prison , be battered in a rally , be injured, be prosecuted and jailed. ARE WE PREPARED FOR ALL THIS ??? Ask this questions first please.
I want to get committed Indian's to come forward and lets go all out till our life goes for fighting for INDIAN rights. FIGHTING means dying without violence not killing other people ,,, that's what i meant.
REMEMBER THIS PEOPLE :-
JESUS DIED FOR THE CHRISTIANS
MAHATMA GANDHI DIED FOR INDEPENDENCE OF INDIA
BUDDHA LEFT NAKED FROM THE COURTYARD
NELSON MANDELA SPENT MOST OF HIS LIFE IN PRISON
For Indian's unity to take its kingdom, we have to get all this first .
1) I like to start with a fund for HINDRAF first , if only every working Indian could donate RM2 ringgit per month , then we have money to face many challenges. If we have about 500,000 working Indians then we have a monthly collection of RM1 million. The money will able us to fight against court cases and also bail out many poor Indian's who fought during the rally lately .. Just imagine, how many willing to go and fight for Indian's rights knowing that they will be bailed out soon. Within a year we would have a funds of RM12 million without much fuss and problem. Its just a cup of tea that we are going to sacrifice for a month . Isn't that a piratical type of fundings.
2) We need young professionals ( police officers, lawyers, doctors, human rights personnel, professors, academicians) and university students to be in our team too, with them we could do wonders. Just imagine, when a rally is going on and the we are battered , we have doctors treating our Indian fighters, human rights doing their demands, professors and academicians putting up write ups and TV coverage throughout the world. Indian police officers to could give us input on the issue. THAT'S unity my friends.
3) We need friend get friend registration. If a Hindraf supporters could get his classmate, his mother, father, brothers and sisters and his relatives to support HINDRAF, then we have numbers. Just a scenario for example, for PRU 13, we are advice not to exercise our voting rights ...and HINDRAF Leadership says ... INDIAN's don't vote. What will happen then if the whole Indian's in Malaysia stop voting for PRU13 . Imagine , how all this UMNO putra's will be running and begging us for votes so are the PAKATAN group .... Have we thought of that ..
Won't for a change, we control the demands, we all looking for to be
FULFILLED AND HEARD .
4) All this can be achieved, not a problem if every Indian believes in HINDRAF struggles. My questions are ...why Utayakumar , Jayathas and some leaders always be the arrested. WHY NOT ALL OF US TO GATHER BE ARRESTED... WILL THE POLICE LOCK UPS HAVE ENOUGH PLACE FOR ALL OF US TO BE ROUNDED, NO WAY THEY WILL PUT US INSIDE BECAUSE WE HAVE THE WHOLE INDIAN COMMUNITY LOCKED UP. WHAT CAN THEY DO .... I TELL U TODAY, THEY WONT DARE TO DO IT . ONLY WITH THIS KIND OF MASS INDIAN SUPPORT WE COULD DEFEAT ANY OBSTACLES AND CHALLANGES.
SO, my brothers if we want Indian's future generations to be respected and dignified, we have to stand united today, do this starting today and spread the word to all our Indian friends ...we sure will win the fight ... GOD BLESS US Indian's
Attempted murder and arson on 9 Indian houses within 5 days. Zero prosecution by racist UMNO A.G. Gani Patail unlike done on 53 Hindraf activists.

(See Malaysia Nanban headlines 23/3/2011 & Makkal Osai 23/3/2011 at 1st page)
There is the developer of this land who this Indian villagers allege is the prime suspect. The police did not conduct swift investigations and the attorney general has refused to prosecute as swiftly as he did for the 53 Hindraf activist for merely being members of a supposedly minority and human rights NGO ie Hindraf, the world’s only human rights NGO to have been outlawed.
The racist UMNO has been using Attorney General Gani Patail and his predecessors to keep the Indian poor subservient to UMNO’s racist and religious

While the racist UMNO is the real culprit by commission, these atrocities becomes the order of the day because of the omission by the supposed multi-racial PKR, DAP and PAS and their Indian mandore MPs’ and leaders and including the Indian elite.
One may ask ‘why are we fighting every one’, and our answer is it is because of this “everyone” that the Indian poor are in pain, suffering and mysery has got to this level.
As we are not politicians per se we are forced to fight everybody!

What is plain and obvious here is the PKR Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has refused to even provide basic infrastructure namely road, electricity and water supply in order for the said 47 poor Indian villagers to relocate to. Where is the change vis a vis the UMNO regime? And we have not forgotten that the Indian poor had in the March 2008 general elections we had unconditionally voted for PKR, DAP and PAS which formed the Selangor State government.
And in return this is how the Malay muslim Yayasan Kebajikan Selangor alone had been alienated 1,000 hectres of land in the very same Hulu Selangor area within three months of pledging during the Hulu Selangor by-elections, but none to displaced Indians, temples, schools and cemeteries.

Jacob a/l Pakianathan ini kepada Artikel 14 Perlembangan Persekutuan Malaysia yang memperuntukkan “Citizenship by operation of law”.
Sekian, Terima Kasih,
Yang Benar,

HRP is first complainant against Malaysia to ICC
(Malaysiakini) The Human Rights Party (HRP) became the first complainant against Malaysia to the International Criminal Court (ICC), alleging what it calls a “mini genocide” murder of five ethnic minority Indians and over 100 injured in the Kampung Medan incident in 2001.
HRP also wants the ICC to set up a fact-finding mission and come to Malaysia to investigate its complaints on the ethnic Indian minority.
Its pro-tem secretary-general P Uthayakumar (left), in an official letter to ICC today, claimed that the last 20 years had seen the poor Indian community to be the most vulnerable and softest target. They are allegedly subjected to state-sponsored acts of violence, racism and religious extremism.
Highlighting the findings of the Malaysian Indian minority and human rights violations annual report from 2008 to 2010, Uthayakumar claimed the Indian community, which accounts for eight percent of the Malaysian population, have been subjected to systematic “ethnic cleansing”.
“Their villages and settlements have been demolished, temples indiscriminately demolished - even up to one Hindu temple demolished every 10 days, and 96 Hindu temples demolished between 2004 and 2007 in the state of Selangor alone, as revealed by the Selangor menteri besar,” he said.
“Further, their Hindu cemeteries and ethnic Tamil schools are systematically demolished. The latest case is the Bukit Jalil Estate in Selangor, where the last ethnic Indian plantation village, Hindu temple, Hindu cemetery and ethnic Tamil school was almost “ethnically cleansed” on March 15 to make way for a Malay Muslim cemetery.”
A copy of the letter was made available to Malaysiakini.
Uthayakumar claims Indian poor segregated
Uthayakumar said the Indian poor were segregated and excluded to equality and equal opportunities stipulated in Article 8 of the Malaysian federal constitution, guaranteeing equality before the law and equal protection.
He claimed Indian children were denied birth certificates, and another estimated 300,000 did not get their identity cards.
“They are also denied equal opportunities from the government fully-funded kindergardens, Permata Smart kindergartens, fully-residential schools, matriculation colleges, places in polytechnics and universities, the Public Services Department, the government and government-linked companies (GLCs), or scholarships."
The Indian community was also sidelined from top jobs in the private sector and GLCs, licences and business opportunities, as well as government contracts and supplies and other jobs, Uthayakumar said.
He claimed that in the state-sponsored Kampung Medan “mini genocide” in 2001, ethnic Indians were specifically targeted and attacked, resulting in five murdered and 100 injured.
“We have lodged thousands of police reports, letters and memoranda to the government of Malaysia but to no avail. As a result of championing all this, I, as the pro-tem secretary-general, have been maliciously prosecuted for sedition, where the trial is ongoing and a three-year jail sentence is hanging over my head.”
“This month alone has seen 53 Hindu Rights Action Force activists being maliciously prosecuted in four states for merely being members of the organisation,” he said, adding that he therefore appeals for the ICC to send a preliminary fact-finding mission to Malaysia to investigate the complaints.
Malaysia has ratified the Rome statute to become a member of the ICC this month. Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Nazri Abdul Aziz said he was pleased and happy that Malaysia could now be a respected country in the United Nations.
ICC is the first and only independent judicial institution with jurisdiction over the most serious crimes of international concern, such as genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and aggression.
HRP also wants the ICC to set up a fact-finding mission and come to Malaysia to investigate its complaints on the ethnic Indian minority.

Dear Sirs,
Re : 1) State sponsored crimes against humanity in Malaysia – first complaint to ICC
2) Kampong Medan “mini genocide” murder of 5 ethnic minority Indians and 100 over caused grievous bodily injuries.
3) ICC Fact Finding Mission to Malaysia.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
We refer to the above matter wherein Malaysia has on 18/3/2011 ratified the Rome Convention and henceforth became a member of the International Criminal Court (I.C.C) (NST 22/3/2011 at page 12).
We wish to lodge the very first formal complaint against Malaysia to the International Criminal Court as follows:-
1) In over at least the last 20 years, the most vulnerable and softest target up to even sixth generation Malaysian born ethnic minority Malaysian Indians have been subjected to state sponsored acts violence, racism and religious extremism via state policies as is especially outlined in the last three years of our annual Human Rights Reports as follows:-
1) MALAYSIAN INDIAN MINORITY & HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS ANNUAL REPORT 2010
2) Malaysian Indian Minority & Human Rights Violations Annual Report 2009
3) Malaysian Indian Minority and Human Rights Violations Annual Report 2008
The main complaint as per our aforesaid reports are that this mere 8% of the Malaysian population ethnic Indian minority community have been subjected to systematic “ethnic cleansing” ie their villages and settlements demolished, their hindu temples indiscriminately demolished even up to one hindu temple demolished in every ten days- 96 hindu temples were demolished between 2004 and 2007 in the state of Selangor alone as revealed by the Chief Minister of Selangor at the Selangor State Legislative Assembly on 29/10/2010 (see Tamil Nesan 30/10/2010 at page 3). Further their hindu cemeteries and ethnic Tamil schools systematically demolished etc.
The latest case in point is the Bukit Jalil Estate in Selangor where the last ethnic Indian plantation village, their hindu temple, hindu cemetery and ethnic Tamil school was on 15/3/11 almost “ethnically cleansed” via a government Notice and in a matter of time slated to be systematically “ethnically cleansed” to make way for a Malay Muslim cemetery.
On a day to day basis and from womb to tomb the Indian poor are segregated and excluded to equality and equal opportunities in direct contrevention of Article 8 of the Federal Constitution which guarantees Equality before the law and equal protection of the law beginning from an estimated 150,000 up to even sixth generation Malaysian born ethnic Indian children being denied their Birth Certificates and another estimated 300,000 their Identity Cards. Denied equal opportunities and segregated beginning from being denied places in government fully funded kindergardens, Permata Smart kindergardens, fully residential schools, Matriculation Colleges, Polytechnics University places, JPA, Government and Government Linked Companies (GLC)/ bodies scholarships locally and overseas, due government jobs, due Managerial, Executive and top jobs in the private sector and GLC ,due licences, business opportunities government contracts and supplies and other jobs. And racism and religious supremacy in just about every facet of their daily lives.
The tip of the iceberg example is that in Malaysia a poor ethnic Indian will be denied even a licence and business opportunity to open even a vadai (Indian cake) stall. A poor ethnic Indian will not be taken in even as an office boy in a government department when Sir Anand Satchianand, a first generation ethnic Indian can even become the Governor General New Zealand.
All what the UMNO led Malaysian government does and in fact have done extremely well is to flaunt the odd and exceptional ( 0.1% -1%) showcases of all the above to the world and create the impression and perception that the Indians are not segregated and excluded.
We also wish to lodge a formal complaint on the state sponsored Kampong Medan “mini genocide” in 2001 where ethnic Indians were specifically targeted and attacked leaving five (5) murdered and 100 over caused grievous bodily injuries ( photos of the gruesome injuries is enclosed herewith).
We have lodged thousands of police reports and written thousands of pages of letters and memorandums to the government of Malaysia but to no avail. Some 35 of our Memorandums are as per the Appendix I and which is enclosed herewith.
For championing these very serious grievances via peaceful means, our lawyer and Secretary general (pro tem) P. Uthayakumar has been maliciously prosecuted for Sedition, the trial ongoing and a three year jail sentence hanging over his head. In this month alone (March 2011) 53 Hindraf activists have been maliciously prosecuted in four states for merely being a member of Hindraf, a minority and human rights NGO, the world’s only Human Rights NGO to have ever been outlawed.
Further and better particulars are documented on a day to day basis in our official website www.humanrightspartymalaysia.com.
We hereby appeal for ICC to send a preliminary Fact Finding Mission to Malaysia to independently investigate this our aforesaid complaint.
Should your goodselves require any further documents or information we shall be happy to furnish the same.
Kindly revert to us accordingly.
Thank you,
Yours faithfully,
……………………….
P. Uthayakumar
Secretary General (pro tem)
