They were released on police bail last month a day before Deepavali and called to report to Putrajaya Police Station on 25 Nov 2008. About 10.30 am ASP Rejali informed to all that police decide to drop all the charges against the 10 and let the free.
The family members and supporters whom waited outside cheered all the released with Vaalge Makkal Sakthi slogan.
Mr Jayathas, Police Watch Coordinator whom also one of the released condemned the police act a month ago for the unnecessary arrest. He said that Makkal Sakthi never impose any danger to anyone.
The day also marked a year of Hindraf mammoth peace gathering in KLCC and the released were happy that it was another gift for the struggle and hope the same would happen to those detained under ISA for championing the real issues.
